I read four books this month, which, considering I’ve been writing a dissertation, is really good going. I’m proud of myself!
My TBR Challenge for March was : Read a book by an author you’ve never read before.
All of the books I read this month fitted with this theme, which means I have branched out from the books and authors I usually stick to.
1. Bridget Jones Omnibus, the Singleton Years by Helen Fielding. -4/5 stars. Very funny, there were tears, very good for all the single women out there who love the film.
2. Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy by Helen Fielding- 5/5. Loved this book, reading a more mature Bridget as she battles being a single mother was really enjoyable.
3. The Rest Falls Away by Colleen Gleason- The author told me on Goodreads her inspiration for this book came from Cinderella and Buffy. I think that’s enough said 😉 – 4/5
4. The Twelfth Child by Bette Lee Crosby- 4/5. It’s a bit odd to get your head around at first but its quite sweet at the end of it. (This was my TBR pick of the month)
TBR Book: The TARDIS Handbook by Steve Tribe
TBR Challenge: A book that has been turned into a movie.
What have you guys read this month? If you’ve read the same as me I would love to hear your opinions on them. 🙂
