May Wrap-Up/ June TBR

The last half of May was a really busy time for me, with my final assignments for university, the Leaver’s Dinner, May Ball, and other social events to celebrate that I have completed my degree, moving out, rearranging my room (more explained in my next post) that I’m not surprised I only read three books in the month of May. I have also added all of the books to challenges on the Popsugar TBR challenge to try and complete it before the end of the year.

The books I read are:
1. Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell, this book was for my Popsugar Reading Challenge (book set in a high school) and also gave me a chance to delve into Rainbow Rowell for the first time. I gave it 5/5 stars.

You can read my review here:

2. All I Know Now by Carrie Hope Fletcher. I really like Carrie’s videos as she seems like such a genuine person so I was quite happy to buy her book. I gave it four out of five stars and although I was trying to do one TBR challenge a month, this book fills the category of ‘book written by someone under 30’.

Full review here:

3. The final book I read in May was Journey to the River Sea by Eva Ibbotson, a book from my childhood, and having enjoyed this book again I have removed it from my shelves and will be selling/donating it to someone else 🙂
I also gave this book 4/5 stars and you can read my review here:

Now for the books that I want/plan to read in June.
I am currently 70% through Summoner: The Novice, by Taran Matharu, to review for Netgalley and really enjoying it so far!

My TBR pick of the month was Atonement by Ian McEwan

My TBR challenge of the month is to read a book based on or turned into a TV Show- I don’t know what I am going to read for this but I have lots of choice!

That’s everything!
What have you read this month and have you read any of the books I mentioned, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Happy reading! 🙂
